Frequently Asked Questions

Browse the content below to find the issues and solutions you care about quickly.

What is the surface hardness of your wear-resistant plate?

The surface hardness of Wodon's cladding layer is generally HRC 58-65, and the formula and number of weld thickness can be adjusted according to customer needs.

Can you process according to the drawings I provide?

Absolutely. We support processing services according to drawings, and provide a variety of customized processing such as laser/plasma cutting, hole opening, bending, groove treatment, etc.

Will the cladding layer fall off?

The cladding layer of Wodon CCO wear-resistant plate is tightly bonded to the substrate and will not fall off under normal use.

Is cracking on the board a quality problem?

No. Surface cracks are stress release cracks formed naturally during the cladding process, which helps to mitigate the impact of thermal expansion and contraction of the board surface and will not affect the service life and performance.

What is the "chromium carbide" content of the weld overlay?

It is the key component that determines the wear resistance. The Cr content in Wodon products is usually 27–45%, forming dense Cr7C3 carbides.

How thick can the cladding layer be?

The conventional thickness is 3–20 mm, and it can be thicker on demand, up to 50 mm, suitable for extreme wear occasions.

Which parts are most suitable for using CCO plates?

Parts with strong wear, such as blanking ports, guide troughs, chute linings, corner elbows, screen plates, slideways, and pipe linings.

Can you provide cutting and processing services?

Yes, we offer complete cutting, bending, drilling, welding, and machining services to meet your project’s needs.
